I am a proud mother of my baby, Victoria Amber Mitchum, born July 14, 2006!!!I'm a part time student at West Valley Community College in Saratoga, CA. I just finished my fourth year playing Baritone in the SJSU Spartan Marching band. I work for an elderly facility during the day, and I go to school in the evenings. I live with my wonderful Fiance Robert. Even though we're not married, I still consider him my husband. No pressure, we can get married later.Tori

My Interests

I like music, playing and listening. I have been playing baritone since 1998. I started out in music, playing the flute in 1991. I have also played Oboe and trumpet (not very well on trumpet). In my spare time I.... uh, wait. I don't have spare time.

I'd like to meet:

Cool people... People who can be friends, and leave the drama at the door.

Music:

I like to play and listen, to pretty much anything. Yes, even country music sometimes. I'm a well rounded person.

Movies:

I don't get to the movies that often, but I've grown to like The lord of the rings trilogy, I like all Kevin Smith movies (clerks, mall rats, chasing amy, Jay & Silent bob strike back.) I don't like those movies where things keep going wrong and you can predict the ending, or movies that keep me on the edge of my seat with scarriness. I get nightmares when I get home. So, Robert and I have netflix, and I'm just starting to get my share of the movie industry. I realized how dull my life can be without tv. =)

Television:

When I do watch, I like to watch CSI, Law and Order, Miami Ink, HEROES, and anything on Food Network. I especially love watching when they make desserts. They look soooo good!

Books:

I like books by John Steinbeck (Cannery Row, Tortilla Flat, Grapes of Wrath, etc.) because he wrote fictional stories based on the bay area. I always thought that was so cool.

Heroes:

The love of my life Robert, because no matter what happens, he will always be there for me and for our daughter. He's such a wonderful father.

My uncle died a couple of days ago, and I just came across some pictures of us when I was a kid. I sure do miss him.

Insomnia

I'm addicted. I can't quite seem to get away from it. Late at night when I know I should be in bed, I sneak off into the living room for a little... During the day while the baby's napping...

Unemployed

I got fired and I'm broke. Sounds like a good country song. Why couldn't they just wait till after I used my entire check on my daughters first birthday party???

I miss him

I miss my Robert. He's been back in Alabama since last Saturday, and I'm going on Thursday, but I still miss him. Just thought I'd share.
