Matt Fisher, Drummer

Based in London, I am currently studying for a Masters degree in jazz at Trinity College of Music. I originally came from Portsmouth, and started out with an indie/pop group by the name of Bastion 4 (which some people changed to bastard 4 for some reason!) and released two singles called 'Blessed Reprieve' and 'Escape the Rot', as well as the album 'Strange Constitution', for Marsh Co record label in 2002. Leaving the group shortly after, I took up study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, graduating in July 2006 with a First Class Hounours degree in jazz performance. Recent performances have included playing with the Steve Waterman Quartet. I have been lucky enough to study under Martin France, Clark Tracey, John Marshall, Peter Fairclough, and Dave Wickins.
