How do we even begin to describe ourselves, we are all unique and so complex, it's difficult to put "about me" into a few words. I love animals, although my dog died and my cat chooses to ignore me. There are many children in my life that I adore, however I have none of my own. I am no longer at at age where I can make excuses for my mistakes, I feel being young has many advantages, but with age comes the joy of wisdom and shared experiences with others that can not be taken away. I am at an age where I know where I have been, where I am at, and where I want to be in the future. Then again, my age is just a number, a date of birth on my license that proves I'm old enough to purchase anything I want.Everyday I am scared that I am not taking advantage of all the opportunities that life has to offer because I am afraid of failure. My choices are not always the best, they are my decisions and like it or not I live with them, if I don't like the outcome I am the one that has to make the revisions. The key is to learn from my mistakes and to get right back up when I fall. Perseverance will give me strength and focus will give me guidance. I welcome life's challenges and think of them as opportunities for growth. Before I know it these "obstacles" are no longer an issue and I am right back on track. With these changes I must realize the stronger and more confident I can become. These are the moments that define me and the lessons that help me to grow. Without challenges how would I ever feel any sense of accomplishment?I delight in spending time getting to know people, despite this I am cautious about those that I bring into my realm. I think about the people that I have met and how they impacted my life. I reflect on the positive influences and think about what it was that they did which left a footprint in my life. I also remember those who may have guided me in an unfavorable direction and learn from those experiences so that I may avoid similar occurrences from happening in the future.Each fragile day I decide to be the best me I can, so I put on a smile, embrace the changes, face my own mortality and be honest about my motivations.
