A V I Y N formed in the summer of 2006 and instantly began a series of line up changes until the final two members joined. Mike Pue on guitar and Katina Clark with vocals. Throughout the 2007-2008 A V I Y N divulged their melodic-core style to the Oklahoma masses playing with bands like “August Burns Red,” "36 Crazyfists", "Walls of Jericho", “The Showdown,” “Project 86,” “Look What I Did,” “Catherine,” “A Plea For Purging,” “Dead And Devine,” “Dryline,” “She Killed Poetry,” “Rikets,” and many locals. This melodic metal female fronted band has a powerful stage performance with diverse riffs and heavy break downs galore.
