The movement behind Konscience message began with many forms of injustice toward the human race.Like Marion Anderson in 1939 speaking at the Lincoln Memorial, or when Eldridge Cleaver lived his life then renounced violence, or Frantz Fanon writing thoughts on race in 1952 in Black Skin,White Masks. Even Marcus Garvey urging his "Back To Africa" movement saying"We must canonize our own saints,create our own martyrs........".Or Malcolm saying"I believe in the brotherhood of all men,but I dont believe in wasting brotherhood on anyone who doesnt want to practice it with me.Brotherhood is a two way street".Or when Che Guevera left his profession as a doctor to pursue the emancipation of the poor of the earth.Or Bob Marley lifting his shirt to expose bullet wounds from the night before prior to doing a Peace concert in Jamaica,The M.C. builds most thoughts and strategies from the experience of the past.The M.C. has traveled a lot and been involved in many positive things as well as many negative ones.Recently released, Konscience is more focused than ever.Vowing to never see the inside of those walls again, or to allow any friend , family member to ever be on that side of things.This movement began around 94 and grew even stronger with the passing of a great brother(R.I.P. Kit)And sharpening swords with some of Texas greatest M.Cs(Peace to Righteous Rook,LordMayor,QB,NinjaOne,Press83,NRG,DoDirty,N8 and all who played a huge role in helping this movement stay constant.Every now and then Kons alter Ego(Judah Tha Jahsta)spits a few bars channeling Mumias energy and relaying messages from some of historys strongest Revolutionarys.With a love for old, old samples and odd instrumentation we grow each day.(EmanuL thanks for the DR5 to add to things)With time and a collection of books and music this movement will grow bigger and stronger each second.
