God loves you and wants you to experience His peace and enjoy a full and eternal life. The Bible says.. "we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" "for God so loved the world that He gave us His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" "Jesus came so that we could have life and live it to the full." God planned for us to have His peace and enjoy a full and eternal life now. Why are most people not experiencing His plan? Our problem......separation from God. God created us in His own image and gave us the opportunity to have a full and eternal life. He did not make us like robots to automatically obey Him, but He gave us free will and freedom of choice. We very often choose to disobey God by ignoring Him and going our own way. This results in separation from God. The Bible says.. "we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus." There is only one solution to our separation from God... God's solution......The Cross. Jesus Christ is the only answer to the problem of separation from God. God sent His Son to bridge the gap between us and God. Christ did this by paying the penalty for our sin when He died on the cross and then rose from the dead. His death and resurrection make new life possible for all who believe. The Bible says... "while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." "Christ died for sins once and for all to bring us to God...no-one comes to God except through Him." God provided the only way back to Him, but we must make the choice for ourselves. Our response......accept Christ. We become a member of God's family when we ask God into our life. The Bible says... "for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" "to all who receive Him and believe in His Name, He gives the right to become children of God." The most wonderful thing you can do is to receive Jesus Christ into your life. Why not do it right now? How? 1. Admit that you are a sinner and need God to take charge of your life. 2. Be willing to turn from your sin 3. Accept God's forgiveness by believing that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave to pay the penalty for your sin. 4. Receive HIm as Lord and Saviour by asking Him to take possession of your life. 5. Thank God that Jesus Christ has now come into your life.
This prayer might help... "Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn away from my sins. I invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust You as Saviour and follow You as Lord. Amen." Did you pray this prayer?
