I..m a composer and pianist and I..m writing music in a minimalism and postminimalism style. I wrote a string quartet, orchestral music, chamber music and a lot for solo piano, but I also play Jazz, write Popsongs and produce electronic space music.
"Space Journey" is a series composition. I began to work on it in 2006 and in all "Space Journeys" I try to combine electronic music with the sounds of nature. For the composition "Die Gedichte Leas" I use some poems of the Movie "Lea". Here you can hear the third and last movement of the composition. The personal is Alexandra Fischer - vocals, Johannes Daum - piano. At "Befiehl du deine Wege" I put the lyrics from a Bach-choral and compose some new music. The recording is a live performance at "Christuskirche" with Diana-Marina Fischer - vocals, Tina v. Bredow - violine and me on the organ. "Fantasia No1 in C-Dur" is now a brand new composition for piano-solo. "FLUSH" is my first orchestral work. It is 12 minutes long and I have writen the piece in 2005. I..m also writing on a piano concerto since 2000 and hope to finish it soon. "Flush", I think, is one of my best example in combining minimalism structures with pop chords and rhythm.
