I'm a native New Yorker who went to Los Angeles in 1978 and lived there till my beloved father died in October of 2006. That jolted me back to the reality that New York was the only place for me, and I moved back to The Bronx. The only struggle I face now is the separation from my son Darren. He's in Los Angeles, 3000 miles from me!! He's got his pilot's license and is already working. That guy is amazing!This is the toughest time in my life, but I know in my heart that I made the right choice to be in NYC. Life here is vibrant and just the way I need it to be. It's what I call a "user-friendly" city. I find it beautiful here.
Working with the elderly population and finding it rewarding but demanding. They can be just like babies and just as sweet! Not my profession, but so far it's fine.Music and friends are key to my spiritual healing and I surround myself with these joys as much as possible. Front row at a Todd or Clapton concert is my favorite place on earth.I have no specific reason to be on MYSpace, except to keep life interesting and to hear new bands and make new friends.
