Strangest Places have been writing and performing urgent, dynamic, spacey, driving, heartbreaking, meaningful rock tunes you've never heard of since 1999.
The band (vocals/keyboards, guitar, bass, drums) avoids falling on their respective swords by dreaming up melodies that pay homage to influences like U2, The Church, Crowded House, Elbow, The Doves, Massive Attack, Radiohead, The Police and Underworld.
Since the band's 1999 debut CD, "Hiding the Igniting Girl," two critically acclaimed recordings have also been released: 2002's "Very Loud Thoughts," and 2004's "*Optional." A fourth record, "Exit Strategy," will be released in 2008, with additional new material to follow.
