About Me

Welcome all who may enter here...I guess this is where I write about me..
Since the early age of 6, I've been drawing and designing characters and illustrations as well as writing stories and poetry. I've been professionally published since the age of 17.
Since growing up reading comics and graphic novels, I have always had a great admiration for the golden age comic books and classic characters. My favorite comic book artists are John Byrne, Alex Ross, George Perez and Jim Lee. I'm also a huge music and movie fan.
I have been many things (writer, poet, speaker, etc.) and have done a great deal of work...but first and foremost, I am an artist and everything else has just been the hats I've worn quite well.
I have tried my best to be optimistic and continue to see the good in all things and people...even if such thoughts and actions have turned my world upside-down at times.
The world, through my eyes, have yet to yield all the hopes I have within. So, I've had to make my own way. Travel down the road less traveled.
I'm a proud parent of one daughter. Her favorite comic book characters are Wonder Woman and Supergirl.
As a single father, artist, writer, human being, I have learned that in life, there are many challenges and that there are many good things that fill our world day in and day out.

It's with this balance of reason that I've posted some of my poetry and art here...to look beyond it all and remain open to whatever possibilities come my way. Through it all...knowing that each step may lead me to something new.
