My mother was Semele (daughter of Cadmus), a mortal woman, and my father Zeus, the king of the gods. Zeus's wife, Hera, a jealous and vain goddess, discovered the affair while Semele was pregnant. Appearing as an old crone (in other stories a nurse), Hera befriended Semele, who confided in her that her husband was actually Zeus. Hera pretended not to believe her, and planted seeds of doubt in Semele's mind. Curious, Semele demanded of Zeus that he reveal himself in all his glory as proof of his godhood. Though Zeus begged her not to ask this, she persisted and he agreed. Mortals, however, cannot look upon a god without dying, and she perished. Zeus rescued the fetal me, however, by sewing him into my thigh. A few months later, I was born. In this version, Dionysus is borne by two mothers (Semele and Zeus) before his birth, hence the epithet dimetor (two mothers) associated with "twice-born".In another version of the same story, I Dionysus was the son of Zeus and Persephone, the queen of the underworld. A jealous Hera again attempted to kill the child, this time by sending Titans to rip me to pieces after luring the baby with toys. Zeus drove the Titans away with his thunderbolts, but only after the Titans ate everything but the heart, which was saved, variously, by Athena, Rhea, or Demeter. Zeus used the heart to recreate him in the womb of Semele, hence he was again "the twice-born". Sometimes people said that he gave Semele the heart to eat to impregnate her. The rebirth in both versions of the story is the primary reason he was worshipped in mystery religions, as his death and rebirth were events of mystical reverence. This narrative was apparently used in certain Greek and Roman mystery religions. Variants of it are found in Callimachus and Nonnus, who refer to this Dionysus under the title Zagreus, and also in several fragmentary poems attributed to Orpheus.As my mortal life, I was born in 1972in a very rainy night in Milan.Had a very strange childhood, I was an altar boy for a while ,mad about God and the church enviroment.However one day I was convinced to have had a conversation with the crucifix on the very same church.The Christ was asking me to lie down underneath the altar on a certain day and I didnt.Since then I came in contact with the dark angel who is keeping visiting me time to time. Went to Theatre school at the very young age of 7 and falled in love with the stage and the story of theatre.I was then selected for various theatre plays from Moliere to Plauto, Chekow and so on. At the age of 14, I escaped from my country and took refuge in Germany for 2 years. No much to say on that. Came back to Italy and formed my own theatre company together with a great friend of mine Max Riccitelli, doing several cabaret shows all around the suburbia of Milan. I finally decided to change and go into music . I first started to sing in local nightclubs then formed a band called "Sunrise".We used to play lots of good pure metal all written by us.Meanwhile my passion for goth was growing stronger and stronger and once again I felt Italy wasnt the right place for me so after my military service I've decided to split up with my band and come to London where I started to sing seriously. In here, I met my teacher, mr Francis Keeping who taught me opera singing for several years.Had the opportunity to work in various musical productions and to have my own orchestral company with whom I played in galas and embassies. I joyned the infamous London Vampyre Connexion where after just few months I was asked to become a commitee member and organiser.It is now become my life as real vampirism. When I said goodbye to the light I've decided to create my own video distribution company and together with my business partner, we created the "Dioniso Distribution". We used to distribute Adult videos and gadgets all over Europe ( produced 1547 adult videos). But then I realised that wasnt my path and so I left it for now to go back to my musical world. Now managing and promoting goth vampire bands and artists and in strictly contact with the " other world" I'm also working on a musical project for the Vampyre Connexion which it will be ready sometimes next year Humans are for now, Vampires are forever!!!!Astaroth is the greatest!!!
