Band Members: dj unique roland mc 303,numark dual mixer, alesis qs6,technic 1200,berhringer mix, dual gate himself, and mic, reasons YAMAHA RX1, A PAIR OF CONGOS,A SET OF ROTO DRUMS, software reverb units and so forth.AH YEAH MARYJANE IS A PART OF MY CREW SHE HAS BEEN AROUND FOR LIKE EVER.
Influences: JAMAICA QUEENS NEW YORK I WAS IMPRESSED IN 1977 HOW CONEY ISLAND WAS AND THE BRONX NEW YORK, BROOKLYN AND QUEENS COMING FROM KC TO NY TO VISIT MY GRANDFATHER CHANGED ALOT ON MY OUTLOOK OF LIFE AND HIP HOP. red alert, marly marl, bambatta, and most def dj cool herc,dst,sypder-d grandmaster flash, all old school new york djs, crash crew, sparky dee,b-boy records, all the old school b-boy crews.you know who you are. my first love is hip-hop that,s what got me this far. 1love.growing up in the 70,s i was influenced by brass construction, war, maze, george benson, grover washington, and alot of funk bands and even some rock groups peace to all the metal heads too. the eighties, which had alot of live music, and as i remember alot of old school hip hop artist where playing some of the music live, had alot of cowbells and percusion remember the breaking bells by the crash crew.also i love that congo sound thats what i grew up with timbales and all that good stuff. last but not the least jamaica queens new york was the most influence jamaica ave ya wild! but much respect.big up to all that reggae up there man i had to carry that shit back to here some feel me some don,t peace.
Sounds Like: my music is all original, there are samples, alot of it is some of my favorite music in the background thats how i like it, without some people not knowing what song it is .Everything played is by me written by me, this shit as of now is done off a mc 303-the shits old, but stay tuned. not alot of computer muzac what i mean is it,s mixed with a drum machine and a dual numark mixer. ghetto style, but alot of mixing with alesis qs6 not bad for old equipment but a touch of reverb and flanger and man its get a kind of funky.I love all types of music! that why i try to mix it up, but my roots is jazz,i grew up with alot of jazz so i try to mix that in.sometimes you hear rock, why? i grew up with somes of the kids playing black sabbath,so i like that too ,so it gets mixed.I started out in 1979 playing records as a kid mixing the crash crew and spoonie gee,so sometimes i try to act like i,m still spinning records but now in 2007 i,m spinning cds. dam! I like to be versatile with my music because i feel as long as the music is good and original it,s going to get rocked, straight up,anyway peace to you all.
