About Me

So just over a year ago I told my friends that I wanted to become a rock star. I've always been really into music but never was in band or anything or took any sort of training. When I was a kid I wanted to become a drummer because of Tommy Lee and so my mom let me take a few drum lessons from a dude in a band but she wouldn't buy me a drum set so that kind of fizzled out. She bought me a pair of sticks and a rubber drum pad as substitute. Smart on her part, I guess. So back to getting into music: after living for a bit in Calgary, I decided to return to BC and came to Vancouver. The first house I lived in when I got here was above a couple of a guys who are amazing guitarists. One of the guys, Stanton (he's one of the top friends on my list) showed me some stuff and after many patio nights of pints and guitars, I decided to see if I could make my rock star dream a reality. So this is what you're hearing today. My ideal goal is to just sell the rights to my songs to people and hopefully make some money off royalties and then just keep playing and writing as a hobby. If anything ever comes of it, awesome, but I really don't have too big illusions of becoming a professional musician. So everything is pretty much self-taught, but I am always getting advice and tips from people and I welcome any that people might have. I'll keep throwing up new songs as they come to me and we'll see what happens. My main goals are in business. I am in a big phase right now of trying new ideas and seeing if they work and learning as much from the business world as I can in the process. So far I've dabbled in a clothing company, a tile business, and a music promotions company. None of which have brought me to my goal of retired by 40, but I have learned a lot from each. I have now set work on my newest goal that i've known this is what everything would lead to eventually. I'll keep you posted as it comes. Duncs, if you read this, think back to our consumer ed project from high school (just a different name). So the wheels are in motion, I'm spending about 5 hours a day on it, and have garnered some financial interest in it all. Stay tuned. Oh yeah...if you want to buy the rights to any of my songs (and i have about 30 more written) you can low-ball me for them...I need the money for my new company. Cheers.

You like your girl hot and sexy and a little bit on the wild side. You want your woman to be talented and a little bit of a tom boy. Either that or you just want a hot, married chick with rock-hard abs.
