Tercera Generacion

The spanish urban movement is at fullforce. Artist like Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Pitbull and Wisin Y Yandel amoung others have pionereed a wave of latin sounds through out the world. Making thier mark in this movement are three brothers, that with thier unique style of combining latin rhythms, with catchy lyrics and dance choreography are paving the way to refresh and innovate the music industry. Coming from a family of musicians influence thier love for the art. Many compare them to a modern Menudo or Jackson 5, others have labeled them "Los Que la Montan Donde Sea" which describes thier energy on the stage. Ladies and gentlemen I introduce to you TERCERA GENERACION.Tercera Generacion was formed in September 1998 as a Salsa dance group consisting of three brothers named Damian, Richie and Steven Bastar. They performed in numerous venues and showcases which includes: The Copacabana Night Club, Le Bar Bat, Saunders High School Annual Talent Show and many others. Paving the way to change and being diverse they started incorporating Hip Hop, Reggae, Dance Hall and Pop to their Salsa dance routines developing a new style and look that has never been done before. Changing with the times they started recording Reggaeton. With catchy hip lyrics and a mix of Hip Hop, Reggae and Latin choreography they hope to entertain and fill a void in the industry. The name Tercera Generacion comes from the fact that they are the third generation of Bastar's in the music industry. Their grandfather was Francisco "Kako" Bastar, who was an amazing percussionist that recorded with many Spanish artist.
