I spent the best years of my life in Fairbanks Alaska in an Arctic Light Infantry reg. in the US Army...Ft Wainwright. I was a mortar gunner (11-c) and was on the US Army pistol team for a year. If your wondering where I got the name Pistol Whip...it was a nickname/code name given to me in the army. I spent three years in Alaska in an arctic light infantry battalion. I have been in 165 degrees below zero, have you? They found out I was a crack shot so they put me on the US Army pistol team where I received first place....and some nice trophies.
