About Me

Since this is my artist page I will stick to that side of me (yes there are many, hey I'm an actor, we get PAID to have multiple personalities!). I have a degree in theatre, but like most artistic disciplines, the best education is within yourself. They can teach you technique, but not talent. However, I must say that a good teacher can use technique to bring out talent that you didn't know you had (Bonnie Gould), even if it hurts (again BKG). I am a writer of prose and poetry and plays and perform all three as well as directing theatre. I have been onstage in one capacity or another since I was three and didn't really start to feel my age until I realized (not this year) that I had been performing for a quarter of a century! It's good to be able to say that the best work I have done only inspires me to do more and do it better. I love working with talented people and quite often will have much more talent in a project than money, but I am known for working much more for the work than the paycheck...which is why I need a business manager. If there's a project i want to do it usually gets done...one way or another! Bring it on baby! Fate loves the fearless :)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

this is a tough one. There are definitely people I would love to have conversations with, but not so many that I would stand in inclement weather just to shake hands with ya know? I'm not a big "fan" I guess, but I love people and welcome all conversation...even the windy ones because well...I babble sometimes too and generally if you hang in long enough you learn something...even if it's patience. So, as for famous people, I think I could definitely go for at least a chat with: Ani DiFranco, Denzel Washington, Noam Chomsky, Rachel Ray, Melissa Etheridge, Amy Ray, Emily Saliers, Eminem, Jay Z, Walt Whitman, Javan, Edward Norton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Saul Williams, Julie Andrews, Sean Connery, Angelina Jolie, Carol Burnette, Babs (yeah we're that close), Andrew Lloyd Weber (why do you only write one song per show??) Savion Glover, Lily Tomlin, Lucille Ball, Jonathan Larson, The Divine Miss M, Steven Spielberg, and perhaps Paul Simon just because the first time we met I had to be harsh with him for mistreating a fan and I'd like to see if he even remembers...more to come on this list
