Biography: DJ ShaneWhen you hear DJ Shane's (SHezlHezl ) mesmerizing mixing skills and her smooth flowing record-selection you might be tempted to think she's been DJ-ing all her life. But it was nine years ago, after previous incarnations as a dancer, skater and a fashion designer that DJ Shane caught the "DJing bug" , being deeply creative in all aspects of her life DJ Shane decided right there and then that DJ-ing offered the perfect outlet for her musical talent and creativity. So she simply bought herself a couple of turntables and began assembling her eclectic collection of vinyl and honing her skills behind the decks. It was not long after that her DJ friends booked her some small parties and she was off and running. Three months later typical of her gungho attitude, DJ Shane dove head first with all her passion and headed off for Israel for gigs in Eilat and Tel Aviv.DJ Shane is on a roll, she is travelling and playing the music she loves. She had won over audiences with her brand of Tech & Minimal House with deep and proggy twist,what some of her DJ-ing peers would call her own " pumping throbbing ocean of sound". This " sound" caught the attention of some of the biggest club owners and promoters which led her to being booked all over the world. DJ Shane has been intoxicating crowds from Cape Town to New York, Europe to Asia since then. During a stint in Miami, DJ Shane was convinced by local promoters to stick around and play the city's well known "A-list" hotspots like Crobar, Opium Gardens, Living Room, Nikki Beach and the annual Ultra Music Festival.Ironically while DJ Shane was winning over audiences the world her home country of Holland was by far the hardest to win over. But after returning from the Miami Music Conference, via successful gigs in Boston, San Francisco,Washington,New York and South America, DJ Shane was finally able to win the respect of her Dutch peers, as well as Dutch audiences. After another successful summer of parties on the Islands of Greece and Spain during which DJ Shane shared the stage with many of the world's top DJs, she continued to play all over the globe.2008 DJ Shane will kick off the year by touring Asia for the second time(Japan, China,Bangladesh, India,Korea, Thailand, Singapore)Besides her DJing, she is also on top of the production side of the business.
Last summer for the first time she combined her musical experience and effords in a studio to produce a remix of a single "SOS" by StoneBridge witch came out on StoneyBoy records, In2 music and Ultra records.
Right now she is spending most of her time touring Asia,djing for FASHIONTV worldwide as well as working in a studio, together with her producer buddy Vladi K on material for ShezlHezl project witch is set to be a hybrid of life and DJ preformance.
