Well, I am really here just reconnecting with some old friends, and of course it never hurts to make new ones.
Tomorrow might be too late...
Yesterday?...That was a long time ago...
Tomorrow...We are not permitted to know...Tomorrow might be too late...
To say that you love,
To say that you forgive,
To say that you are sorry,
To say that you want to start over,Tomorrow might be too late...
To ask for forgiveness,
To say, ...I..m sorry, the mistake was mine...Your love, tomorrow, might be worthless,
Your forgiveness, tomorrow, might not be precise,
Your return, tomorrow, might not be waited for,
Your letter, tomorrow, might not be read,
Your caring, tomorrow, might not be needed,
You hug, tomorrow, might not find other arms,Because tomorrow might be too late!Don..t wait until tomorrow to say:
I love you!
I miss you!
I..m sorry!
Are you ok..?Don..t leave for tomorrow...
Your smile,
Your hug,
Your love,
Your work,
Your dreams,
Your help...Don..t wait until tomorrow to ask:
Can I help you?
Why are you sad?
What..s wrong?
Will you give me another chance?
Why don..t we start over?
Do you know that you can count on me?
What happened to your dreams?
Do you realize that I exist?Remember, tomorrow might be too late!Look!
Ask!
Insist!
Try one more time!
Only today is definite!
Tomorrow might be too late!Simply...Your day is today.

RAY OF HOPE
Why is it that every time I think I..m seeing this little ray of hope, here comes the dark gloomy cloud to try and drown it out again?! Why?!
It is some sort of sick twisted plan the big man up above has to truly test one..s might and endurance? See, I like to think of myself as a strong independent woman...but even the biggest and strongest of his creatures can be brought to their knees when put to the test. Now, what you do on your way down, or even more once you..ve hit the ground is what determines the answers, but more importantly how you score. But let..s not forget also, that he isn..t going to put anything on our plate that we can..t handle or put us through a test that he feels we will fail.
So...where is that ray of hope when you need it? Is it around the next corner? Is it in the next sentence you speak, or even hear? Let..s not forget that while you may hear what is being said, are you really listening to every word? Even when those words are coming out of your own mouth. Why is it also that the smallest words can cut a wound so deep, especially when spoken to those you love...a mother, a sister, a father, a brother...a boyfriend or girlfriend?
Where is that ray of hope when you need it? Is it in the next smile you see or show? Can all of you just take a moment and smile at your neighbor? Did it make you feel any better? Maybe, maybe not...But what..s to say you weren..t that stranger..s ray of hope even for just one instant?! Did you realize that..s all it might take?
Where is that ray of hope when you need it? Is it in the next stranger with whom you just accidentally bumped into on the street, subway, or bus? Is it so surprising that they just turned to you and said "Excuse me, I..m sorry." It..s not that difficult a feat. While sometimes, those may be the hardest words to form on your lips...so hard, that they never come out...the next time that happens, take just a split second to think that if you actually do say them, could you be shining a ray of light on that person for today? But don..t think about it for longer than that, because that..s all you..ll have before the opportunity is gone.
Where is that ray of hope when you need it? There are a lot of things that we take for granted in this day and age and we should all take a moment to think about that. Do we get up every morning?! If we do get up, is there a roof over our head, or a cardboard box? Are we getting up to go to work, to earn money to feed our families? Or are we getting up to find the next place to pan-handle to earn enough to put a meal or better yet a cup of hot coffee in our stomach? We may think our next bonus check is some ray of hope...but what about the next dime, nickel, or even penny that falls into that homeless man..s cup?
I could go on forever making comparisons, but I won..t. Maybe you..ve gotten the point, or not. Who am I to say? Only you can. But for all that is taken for granted on a daily basis, I will leave you with my parting thought...
Where is that ray of hope when you need it? My very first one of each day comes when I am given that opportunity to take that first waking breath...When I open my eyes to see that first ray of sunlight each morning. You see, that opportunity to live another day, that ray of hope has been shared with me so now I can share one with someone else...WILL YOU?
