i'd like to meet interesting people who have some awesome strain of creative energy. or are just funny and enjoy my company.
I have a very ecclectic collection of music and at the same time I haven't listened to a lot of things that you may have. I make no apologies or explanations for what I listen to and I don't judge anyone on their musical tastes.
i like movies. i like a lot of movies, so many that i couldn't even start to list them. i am a fan of cinema and i have very strong opinions on movies. just know that i like movies, and be happy with that.
I watch a lot of TV. Its mostly cartoons. Family Guy, Trigun, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Simpsons, Invader Zim, Sealab 2021, Harvey Birdman, Justice League Unlimited. I've also been spending a lot of time watching G4 the gaming network my favorite shows on that channer are X-Play, Judgement Day, and Attack of the Show. Seinfeld is still one of my favorite shows. I watch American Chopper, and Monster Garage, and MythBusters. I also watch Vh1 a lot, but I usually hate every second of it. It would be different if they were actually playing music videos, but they don't do that anymore. I watch a lot of TV it was my second parent.
Contrary to popular belief i do read books, at least occasionally. I just finished reading "Good Omens" by Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaiman, it was a fantastic book about the apocolypse. I've read close to 20 of the Discworld books now, they are fantastic. i'm working hard to collect them all. Harpo Marx's autobiography is one of the best books i've ever read. Groucho's wasn't bad either. Miss Corpus and Rest Area by Clay McLeod Chapman are great books. Choke by Chuck Palanichuck (I definitely spelled his last name wrong, its the guy who wrote fight club) was a good book. Wonder Boys was a good book, and a good movie starring Michael Douglas, Tobey Maguire, Katie Holmes, Robert Downey Jr., and Frances McDormand, I don't remember who wrote the book though. I like Edgar Allen Poe, and Ambrose Bierce. Of Mice and Men is not only a great book, but a great movie, and a great play. The Grapes of Wrath was good. The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe is consistantly my favorite short story. It is always engrossing, and the more I read it the more I perform it while I read it. I'll get around to reading more someday I'm sure.
Anyone who is strong enough to think for themselves and not live their life to the standards of society or to tight knit social groups is a hero of mine.
