The Penoids

About Me

Deep in the bowels of an all-boys Catholic school in Queens, there was a maniac and a microphone. Pinko Kennedy had no band to bang out four chords behind him, though members of the school's resident hardcore band, The Oppressed (NYC version), helped out on backing vocals on "If You Were Gay, I Would Go for You" and several others. So, he invented his own scatological, perverted comedic twist on punk rock music, and called it The Penoids. Who else would write a love song to E.T.? Who else would ask the musical question, "Why Must All Ants Die of Crocus Disease?" Behold the genius of this obscure legend, and find out whether you are a man or a moccasin!
The Penoids existed for but a brief flicker of time, during their fearless leader's final year of high school at Archbishop Molloy in 1982-83. The reclusive Pinko Kennedy prefers his current whereabouts and activities to remain a mystery. However, Mr. Kennedy granted a brief interview in 2005 in which he blithely described the genesis of his vile and ribald art:
"To be honest, I was steeped in deep trance when I created this, and the images were just coming to me in creative tidal waves. I don't know where the genius comes from. I really should have found a good therapist back then. "These and more vile classics (including "Molloy, Homosexual Palace of Love" and the immortal "Whale in Orgasm") can be found on The Penoids page on SoundClick .
