So many types appeal to me, but I like sort of off the wall comedy like these favourites - Peggy Sue Got Married, Benny and Joon, Fried Green Tomatoes, any Kevin Kline movies, almost all of Adam Sandler's movies, Dogma, Ever After, Edward Scissorhands (I don't really consider this one comedy, but it has it's amusing moments - more sad than funny to me though). I also love two of the Stephen King works that have been rendered to film - The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, these I consider to be the best of all of the King stories that have been transferred to film media - the rest all pale in comparison to his written work.
My guilty pleasure is American Idol and in those moments when I can steal the time - soaps (I usually only get these when I'm off from work). Funny commercials
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Stephen King, Peter Straub, Piers Anthony, Robin Cook and Dean Koontz. I don't get to read as much as I used to - an occupational hazard I think - now that I read a lot at work I don't really want to read much of anything at home.
My children (all 4 of them) for their beauty, brilliance and truths (also because they all love me in spite of myself) and my sisters - Lisa and Teresa.
