I'm a musician. To be more precise, I'm a guitar player, a singer, and a songwriter, but not always in that order.
I've recently started up a separate page on the MySpace Music side of things, and I would really dig it if y'all would go over there and place a friend request. The address is http://www.myspace.com/darrellleamusic , but you can also get there from my "Top Friends" below.
I've had a chance to do a lot of music so far in this world. These days I'm making an effort to get my "solo career" back in order. This is a rather unplanned development, but in the past it seems that the unplanned things are always the ones that seemed to work out.
In addition to working solo, I am part of a group that plays Beatle music called Vera, Chuck and Dave. I maintain the Vera Chuck and Dave MySpace page as well.
Here is some video of Vera, Chuck and Dave performing at Unity in Lawrence, KS in autumn of 2007
Recently I began my third tour of duty as a member of Uncle Dirtytoes, the Lawrence Kansas celtic rock ensemble of lore, legend and outer Douglas County. Here is a bit of video of the original version of the band, filmed in 1992:
Here's some video of Kasey Rausch and Friends in 2008 at The Record Bar in Kansas City
Friend of the Devil... Darrell Lea with Kasey Rausch
I suppose I need more gigs to fill the remaining moments of my life, so please call or write.
