My name is Lindsey...
I'm Originally from Waldorf. I moved to Salisbury in May of 05, and just made the big move back acrossed the bridge this passed May. I took just about 3 years off of school and just made the wise, but very hard decision to go back. I was a Chemical Dependency Major, but the whole subject hit way to close to home so I switched to Nursing. I have 7 piercings and 1 Tattoo, which all have amazing stories behind them. I have a weakness for memories, thrift stores, eBay and Abu from Alladin. My biggest pet peeves are people who aren't aware of their own potential, and people spelling my name wrong. I have dreams of becoming rich, but I hate work and don't play the lottery. I love to travel. If I could quit my life and travel the world until I got old, I would highly consider it (but I would have to find a way to sneak Brian and my pups in my suitcase... hehe). I have dreams of going to Cairo. Yellow is the best color in the world, followed by pink. I am horrible at keeping in touch with old friends though I think about them constantly. I am scared to get close to people because i'm afraid that i'll lose them... though in relationships I am not scared of commitment by any means, and would be lost without it. I live to love and dont believe in living any other way. Because of this I have had my heart ripped off my sleeve. I am attempting at living for the moment... I don't know why it's so hard for me... I care more about other people than I care about myself sometimes, and just realized that this makes me Co-Dependent. I am great at giving advice but am the last to take it. I love my quiet time. I have a puppy named Simba who I treat as my child, and he's fricken crazy. We just adopted our second "child" NALA, who Simba took under his wing like a champ, and they are now best friends. :o) I don't believe in love at first sight, lieing or organized religion. I do believe however that Karma plays a big factor in life, and though it may take a while to come around, when it does, it's worth it. I want kids eventually, but i'm not sure when or how many. To all my dear friends that have passed away... I love you.
