Wild Trash

About Me

0 {} ..
Wild Trash are a new hard working 4-piece punk rock band from Bradford, West Yorkshire. In their short time in existence, they have recorded two self-financed EPs, namely “Stay Wild” and “True Love Never Dies” respectively. The latter gained them the inclusion of their passionate anthem “This Town” on the “FungalSkaPunk volume 1” compilation CD on Slit Records. They have also received a large amount of airplay on Bradford's BCB radio & Halifax's Pheonix Fm, as well as inclusion on the playlist of various alternative club nights.
They have gigged extensively around the north of England alongside local and national acts such as 999, GBH, UkSubs, The Vibrators, Lowlife UK, The Negatives and The X-Rippers amongst others.
They have also appeared on the bill of Bradford's acclaimed Ginger Fringe festival on two occasions and also played as part of the 2008 Worthstock music festival. They are keen to build on this, spread their wings and play further afield. 2009 has seen the band going from strength to strength and pushing more to play everywhere, and with an apperence on the bill of the Nice'n'Sleazy festival, this year is looking a great year for the trash!!!

"Perfectly named and perfectly formed. Wild Trash create a punky, dirty rock n roll noise that can't fail to move yer. And in 'this town' they've written a seminal punk anthem which deserves a bigger audience. So if you are reading this Mr Russell get them booked for Rebellion" Steve Blackman, Phoenix Radio 96.7Fm
"The Sun Goes Down" - WILD TRASH “Rock at it's very best! It reminded me a bit of a combination of The Clash meets The Stranglers. Another good track!” -Yorkshire music collective
“Some wonderful original material that I have yet to grow familiar with, this set was a pleasure from start to finish. Great attitude, great people and a great style - always welcome. There were an abundance of crackers to savour. Excellento!”
-Fungalpunk, Slit and Sawdust
“F***ing brilliant”
-Ian Austin, Ginger Fringe
