About Me

I'm the backup singer, keyboard player, and shaker of assorted noisemakers for The Nasty Habits .

When I'm not on stage, I'm a peculiar mix of nonconformity and stunning picket-fence normalcy. I'm the good girl with evil thoughts; the one with the soft touch and sharp teeth. I am the occasional goth girl humming big band tunes while shopping for disturbing movies and a formal dress.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

When I'm not buried in my geekly work, I do try to socialize and find people to spend time with. I'm looking for fun and interesting women to hang out with, particularly those who can hold a conversation about world affairs and also get excited over a cute pair of shoes.

Boys...no proposals, thank you. It says les...it says I'm in a TG band. Get it?

If you're real, and you're cool, and you like some of the things I like, tell me why you find me interesting and about some of your interesting attributes when you ask to be a friend.

My Blog

miffed at Victorias Secret

I've always wanted a pink dog. No, not a living breathing pink dog, but one of the cartoonish pink and white polka-dotted dogs at Victoria's Secret. This has been a marketing theme of theirs for a few...

Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists

Ooooo...Ooooo...I want to join! I’m sort of a scientist, or at least a scientist wannabee, and in a pinch I can stillĀ find Eigenvalues and do a Fourier transform. And I have long hair. Of course...

Palpitations

We just returned from our first-ever gig in bustling Sequim. This is a dinky little town of 5000 and median age 60 where the biggest upcoming event is the Irrigation Festival. I have to give credit to...

the month of hell, and a happy new year

The month of hell is over.I moved houses. And had about 20 years of crap to get rid of. For those of you who haven't had the opportunity (and that means the space, the time, the pack-rattiness, etc.) ...

Cue the sight gag music

I didn't sleep very well last night because of an incident worthy of a Looney Tunes cartoon. Before I went to bed, one of my cats, Alley, was rubbing against a toy basket in the bathroom. No big deal, ...

You are entering...DAH-DAH-DAH...the Twilight Zone

I'm in the kitchen, poking around for food, and I find some Chinese noodles with chicken and assorted vegetables. It needs to be eaten so I toss it in the microwave and after a minute of cooking it ma...
