She is gonna eventually need surgery. There is a small chance that they may not need to open her chest...a very small chance. The only way for that to happen would be if we could get her to gain some weight. Her heart beats so fast that her metabolism is incredibly high. She was 8 lbs, 2.5 oz. at birth. She's now 5 mths and is only 12lbs, 1 oz. So she's gained less than 4 lbs and has grown 5 inches...She's really skinny! My poor Makayla:( We have faith that she will be okay and will one day be strong and healthy. We pray she's not suffering in any kind of way.MOMMY AND DADDY LOVE YOU, MAKAYLA!!! XOXO
