I'm an audio engineer who likes to play with a midi sequencer in his spare time. Everything I play is created in a matter of hours, and nothing ever gets finished.. for a couple of different reasons. First, I'm a lazy procrastinator. Second, I play music for the sake of playing music, and the finished product is not as important as the time I spent fiddling with knobs and hitting the keys.
Electronic music is a beautiful thing, and the tools available today make it possible for everybody to at least try to create it. I highly encourage anyone to give it a shot. Do it for fun.
