It's a global directory of web sites of electronic dance music clubs, promoters and major events from around the world! Some friends and I had the idea of making it earlier this year, and it will constantly be a work in progress. We currently have over 1200 listings spanning 370 cities in 70 countries and growing!! :)
Well let's see...in short, I grew up close to Sacramento, moved to Colorado for five years to attend Colorado State University, then moved back to Sacramento in early 2003 to start a business with my sister and started doing some web design on the side. Then in early 2008 I launched a search engine marketing & web design company with great friend of mine. :)
Now for the good stuff:
I believe that dancing is a celebration of life! And dancing to electronic music is where my heart truly lies! Epic trance, in particular, is the perfect music for me! Some tracks are just soooo emotionally uplifting and inspiring! I really think it's the most incredible music ever! I've met many of my closest friends through the clubbing/electronic dance music scene, and I continue to meet stellar people all the time! For this I am very, very grateful! :)
Clubbing is basically my number one hobby and I love to go out in San Francisco as often as possible. Ruby Skye and 1015 are definitely my favorites! And over the last few years I've been able to combine clubbing with international travel. I consider this to be the perfect combination! :)
For years I had heard that the island of Ibiza, Spain was pretty much the clubbing capital of the world, so in 2004 I figured I’d check it out for myself! I traveled there with my friends Ben & Laura and ended up having the time of my life! The clubbing in Ibiza is like nowhere else! The sound systems in some of the clubs are among the best I've ever heard, and the music takes on a different, more powerful sound...it's just like heaven! :) You'll only hear electronic dance music played in clubs on the island...perfect in my opinion! =) Many of the people in the clubs have traveled halfway around the world to be there, and everyone around you is having the time of their lives so the vibe is absolutely incredible!!! Plus you can club just about 24 hours a day if you want to, and of course...I did!! ;) It was an amazing and life changing experience, definitely leaving me with memories that will last for a lifetime! :)
I returned to Ibiza in the summer of 2006 by myself, and again in 2007 with my friend Dave, and was also able to check out Barcelona both times! (Barcelona has over 2 thousand years of history, which I think is pretty amazing! The city and the beaches are so beautiful; I would totally love to live there someday!) While in Barcelona, Dave and I attended the Sonar Festival, a multi-day urban dance music festival taking place in a museum complex by day and in Barcelona’s massive convention center by night. About 80,000 people attend each year, and it’s completely awesome! I highly recommend it!! =)
I also attended the week-long Winter Music Conference in Miami, Florida in 2005, and then again in 2008! It was fantastic in 2005, but the 2008 event was even better! It’s the closest thing that the United States has to Ibiza, and Space Miami has to be the best club in the country! I believe it’s something that every clubber in the United States should experience at least once!
The next destinations I'd really like to travel to are Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Sydney & Melbourne, Australia; Punta del Este, Uruguay; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Thailand for the Full Moon Parties. I’m shooting for Thailand by the end of 2008, so we’ll see what happens! As for the rest I'm not sure exactly when or in what order, but all of them eventually!

My View On Relationships:
When it comes to relationships I've arrived at the realization that I am a bit picky. I really would like to find "The One" right person for me, my soul mate! :)
Many people seem to jump from relationship to relationship just to have someone there, even though that person is probably not The One for them! I used to share that same view and was okay with it, but not any longer!
At this point I believe that The One for me also shares my love for electronic dance music or is very open to it. I would be very surprised if that is not the case! So this narrows the field quite a bit, but that's totally okay with me! It's kinda like using a search engine: you know what you want to find, your search filters out the improbabilities, then in a little bit of time you find exactly what you're looking for! In this case...my Dance Floor Princess! :)
