About Me

**DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER FAN SITE** I AM IN NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH ANY OF THE CHAPMAN'S
Duane ‘Dog’ Lee Chapman
Date of Birth: February 2, 1953
Marriage: Beth (Smith) Chapman - May 20, 2006
Children: Christopher, Duane Lee II (January 21, 1973), Leland Blaine (December 14, 1976), Zabediah Duane (January 1, 1980 to January 31, 1980), Wesley, J.R., Barbara Katie (June 8, 1982 to May 20, 2006), Tucker, Lyssa, Ciecly, Bonnie Jo, Garry
Grandchildren: Jodi, Jennifer, Jasmine, Dylan, Dakota (March 24, 1995), Cobie (December 7, 2000), Travis, Abbie
Family: Dog is the oldest of four children, raised by their parents in Denver. His father, Wesley, was a welder in the U.S. Navy and his mother, Barbara, was a minister with the First Assembly of God, who traveled to Native American reservations to teach the gospel. His father was physically, verbally, and emotionally abusive which caused Dog to act out. Dog moved to Hawaii after speaking at a seminar in 1989. He currently lives in Hawaii with his wife Beth, sons Tucker (out on parole) and Garry, daughters Lyssa, Ciecly and Bonnie Jo, and grandchildren Travis (Barbara Katie’s son) and Abbie (Lyssa’s daughter).
Prison: He was arrested eighteen times for armed robbery. While serving a five year term for accessory to first degree murder in Texas, Dog was cutting the warren’s hair when an inmate tried to escape. He caught the runner after convincing the guards to put their weapons down. Later when he appeared before the judge he was offered his first bounty job, which he accepted because he needed the money to pay back child support.
Career: Dog, the greatest bounty hunter in the world, has been in the bail bonding business for more than 27 years and credits his success to his knack for getting information out of his informants. The list of fugitives he has participated in capturing and bringing to justice reads like a ‘Who’s Who of America’s Most Wanted.’ Dog and posse use the new art of NBP, neurological visual profiling, which is sensing or feeling when predators are present. He and Beth currently own and run Da Kine Bail Bonds in Honolulu, Maui, and Denver.
Alice Elizabeth ‘Beth’ (Smith) Chapman
Date of Birth: October 27, 1967
Marriage: Duane Lee ‘Dog’ Chapman - May 20, 2006
Children: Dominic (lost custody, Ciecly, Bonnie, Garry
Family: She was raised in Denver by her mother, Bonnie. Her father, Garry Smith, worked with the Kansas City Athletics and her mother raised five children on her own. Beth’s first husband Keith Barmore was a heroin addict and they lost custody of their first child Dominic. Beth attributes her attitude to her mother. She wants to see Dog as the sheriff of a small town someday.
Career: She became the youngest licensed bail bondsman in Colorado at the age of 21. Her main reason for wanting to become a bondswoman was none other than Dog. She got her start in politics while working for Colorado state senator, Don Sandoval. She helped to rewrite the Colorado Bail laws while in a legislative position of the Bail Association. Her duties as a bail bondswoman include writing bonds, creating and checking paperwork and facts, documenting cases by video (usually in disguise at the fugitive’s ‘home’ address) and making sure the leads and information are correct. She and Dog currently own and run Da Kine Bail Bonds in Honolulu, Maui, and Denver.
Timothy ‘Youngblood’ Chapman
Marriages: Davina
Children: Timmy, Summer Rain, Autumn Sky
Family: Tim was raised by many different people including his father, Ronald Chapman, mother, Diane Wimberly, paternal and maternal grandparents. He was two and a half when his parents split up. Tim and Russ, his brother, went to live with their paternal grandparents until they found out their grandmother was a prostitute two years later. They then moved in with their mother and her new husband, Keith (the only ‘father’ Tim liked) to Hawthorn, California. She slipped up and was found wandering the streets in her night gown on drugs. The boys went back to their paternal grandparents for six years, when their father and his new wife, Bev, took custody. Besides the Tim and Russ, Ron and Bev had a new baby and she had two girls from a previous marriage. All was good for about a year when the beating started. Ron began beating the boys and raping the girls. The school ignored the bruises, black eyes, food deprivation, and broken bones. Their mother’s attempts to get the boys back were hidden from them and the boys were beaten worse when they tried to run away. They lived in fear until Tim was 13, when he ran away for good after the children were forced to stand naked in line and take repeated blows. Tim, with a broken nose and overall broken, contacted his mother who took them in. The worst thing for him was leaving his sisters behind. He lived with his mom and new husband for the next few years. He also lived with his maternal grandparents, who were bail bondsmen. One of his step-sisters is a crack addict and the other is a prostitute with two kids. His father repeatedly picked her up and also raped her children. Tim’s father is currently in prison for pedophilia thanks to Tim, the granddaughters and stepmother. He hopes to open/start a foundation that helps at-risk children change their lives.
Career: He is a third generation bondsman who made his first arrest at age 14 and been in business for more than 25 years. He was 17 when he heard about another Chapman bounty hunter, Dog. They joined forces and have been hunting together for more than 21 years.
Leland Blaine Chapman
Date of Birth: December 14, 1976
Children: Dakota (March 24, 1995), Cobie (December 7, 2000)
Family: His mother, LaFonda, divorced Dog while he was in prison. Leland thought that his step-father was his real father until he met Dog when he was eight. He went on his first bounty with Dog at nine with his brothers and half-brothers. His mother gave him the option of moving in with Dog or going to a boy’s home for juvenile delinquents when he was 13 after getting into trouble with gangs. He was fighting, had brought a gun to school, and robbed a tourist. He chose to move in with Dog and again got into trouble with gags, this time in Denver. Dog made him burn all of his clothing and music in a bonfire on the front lawn. Together they went to his school and Dog forced all the gang-kids Leland was hanging out with to turn their shirts inside out. Dog then took Leland to K-Mart to buy new clothes. He also made sure that Leland graduated from high school. When Leland was 17 he began to train for professional boxing, kickboxing, and extreme fighting. He shares a close relationship with all three parents his mom, a retired hair-dresser, step-father, a general contractor, and father, Dog. He has also promised to buy his mother a house next to his after he makes his first million.
Career: He has been helping Dog since he was 13 but officially began working with him when he was 17. He opened Da Kine Bail Bonds in Kona when he was 21.
Duane Lee Chapman II
Date of Birth: January 21, 1973
Marriages: Teresa (Sanchez-Roybal) - December 1, 1999
Children: Jodi, Jennifer & Jasmine (twins), Dylan
Family: He is a full blood brother to Leland and was four when Dog went to prison. He was eight and scared when he met Dog again. Buy the time he was 12 Dog had gained visitation rights and took him to meet his grandmother. His mom sent him to live with Dog in Denver when he was 17 after being thrown out of school for fighting and fighting with his step-father. While living with Dog he realized gang-life was a bad thing and crime does not pay, he watched his friends go to prison. He lived with Dog for two years before moving back to Colorado Springs and getting an apartment. Five years ago Teresa and he began working in the area of finance and are now recruiting others.
Career: He started out as a carpenter and then a construction contractor with his step-father. He later went to college to advance his interest in helping families plan their finances. He would help his dad by playing ‘dress-up,’ he would be the ‘Pizza guy,’ ‘UPS guy,’ etc. and he still is the back door guy. When not helping Dog he works recruiting and training people to own their own financial companies.

My Interests

Bounty Hunting and Bail Bonding.

I'd like to meet:

People who care about the show and the people in it as much as I do.On September 14, 2006, Dog, Leland and Tim were arrested at the request of the Mexican government to be extradited to Mexico to face charges of "Deprivation of Liberty". The charges stem from Chapman's capture of Max Factor heir Andrew Luster, a convicted rapist, on June 18, 2003 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The Mexican government charged the Chapmans with illegal detention and conspiracy for the capture of Luster because bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico. Charges have been pending against the three since local police in Mexico arrested them shortly after they roped in Luster. They posted bail but never returned to Puerto Vallarta for their court hearing on July 15, 2003.Bail was set at $300,000 USD for Dog, and $100,000 USD each for Leland and Tim. Upon arrest, they were held at the Honolulu Federal Detention Center until they were released on bail on September 15, 2006, and ordered to wear electronic monitoring bracelets pending a formal extridiction hearing, wherein they could be sent to Mexico for trial under terms of treaties between the U.S. and Mexico.Chapman's capture of Luster in 2003 - a serial rapist - catapulted the bounty hunter to fame and led to the reality series on the A&E channel. Luster is now in jail in the U.S. serving a 124-year term.
