I go by Addie, among many other names that I have gathered throughout my 19-year journey, I call life. I'm married. Yes, I'm married at 19 years young. Call me crazy, but I'd rather be called by my name. I live in Oak Harbor, WA with my husband and our two puppies. I've been here almost a year. I'm originally from Montana; that's where all my family and friends and all the familar is to me. Not many people know that I'm not the only child. I have two sisters and a brother. I'm really close with my parents and my two sisters. Many people confuse my quietness/shyness with conceit. I'm far from conceited. I'm just quiet and I'd consider myself a people watcher. I observe. But once you get to know me, you'll love me. I have my quiet side, the loud side, my wild side and my fun side. I'm everything rolled into one. I have diabetes. Don't call me a diabetic - diabetes doesn't run me, I run it. I've had it majority of my life: 16 years years, going on 17. I have 17 piercings and two tattoos. Apparently, not many people wanna know where my piercings are, so if you're just that interested, ask. I have a tat on the back of my neck and my fairy tattoo on the right side of my lower back. If you know me, you'll know I'll be getting many, many, many more of both. Music is a big part of my life. I will listen to just about anything. Rock music is by far my favorite genre of music. I've been to many concerts, of all sorts, shapes and sizes. I finally got to see my favorite band in concert: BREAKING BENJAMIN ♥ It was one of those moments where I had a cry session. It was just that amazing. Darin and I love concerts, we try and go to as many as possible. I'm taking online courses right now for graphic design. Not only graphic design, but I would love to be a tattoo artist, piercer, [history] teacher [minoring in Ancient Egypt], and a hair stylist. Who knows what I'll do for a career. It's funny how you think that once you're out of high school, you'll have everything figured out. But once you're out in the real world, it's so much different than what they were trying to get you ready for in high school. I graduated, got married and moved right away. I thought I was gonna have everything in the palm of my hand once I graduated, got married and started my new life with my husband. I was so far off. It's been hard, it's been easy. We've had our ups, we're have our downs, but we're trying to maintain it in the middle. However, moving to Washington has changed me in so many ways [good ways]. I don't take advantage of people and things like I used to when I lived with my parents. I was so thankful for everything that my parents have ever given me, then and now, but when you're young and married, things are just that much harder. I make sure that whenever we receive anything from anyone, they're thanked the right away.
I hate pennies. I love my puppies. I love the colors green and black. I'm a computer nerd. I love riding in the Jeep, with the top off. Someday soon I'll have my new car: VW Jetta. Miami Ink is my favorite show. I mean, c'mon. How can you not love that show? I'm a kick ass friend. I'll do absolutely anything for my friends. I treat my friends the way that I want to be treated. I love listening to people. Come to me if you ever need anything. I heard I give good advice, fyi. I think that I'm a very open person. I trust people a little too easily sometimes, and that has gotten me into trouble. But that doesn't stop me from letting people know what I'm thinking or what I'm feeling or telling them something about myself. Label me, if you wish, but I think I'm my own person and you won't find anyone else like me. Talk to me. I'm nice.
