We’ve been friends for over five years. A band for three. There’s not a great deal to do in our County of Durham, besides chasing your shadow and playing music in Church halls, at least not for us. It’s all about education, what with the university and its status and for a few of us it just felt like an exam factory, we didn’t want to be a product of that machine. Music was always more important to us. Our influences vary but are rooted in the instrumental and being able to describe without words. I think you can tell a lot about us from the music that we listen to, right now we like nothing better than some mood lightning and the Dark Side of the Moon. We listen to Minus the Bear on road trips and always have the haunting tones of the voice of Simon Neil orbiting our minds.
After playing the North East for two years we decided that there wasn’t enough to keep us there so we moved to Manchester in the hope of finding that greener grass. Turns out it just rains. Every day. Now we spend our time the way we wanted. Practise and conversation, and dazed we blaze contently. Dreaming that one day we’ll get paid to do what we love.
We’re not nihilists, we’re not pretentious maybe a little bit narcissistic or paranoid. Either way, we don’t go clubbing much.
If you like what you hear, or you’re even insulted by it, do not hesitate to contact us.
"Progressive rock group Metamusic, offered sublime harmonious guitar and keyboard melodies juxtaposed with jerky angular interjections."

"Fresh as fuck, not a hint of imitation, and that's rare. Fucking great musicianship as well."
