About Me

It's hard to feel at home after skipping from atlanta to philly & back here like so much hopscotch. But it's happening, now that I finally have a place that feels like home, in a real urban area with a homogenous mix of people. They were right all along, all white people really do look the same! That frying pan won't hit me at your range, who'd have thought tomorrow would be so strange? Would you also believe that someone broke into my car, to steal my electric razor (but not the charging cord) and maybe $1.50 in chage? They dug around for the change. And they stole one of my shitty speakers. They didn't take the good sony speakers in boxes in the back, nor did they dig around and take my book of CDs. Yeah, that's cause I walk to work, my only pollution maybe being some funk from BO when it's hot. All in all, happiness is partially attained when one learns to relax the fukk up. AIM is sutiibukane

My Interests

Bicycling, cats, Green Party, computers, cooking, ddr, debate, Settlers of Catan, games, hello kitty, japanese culture, Axis & Allies, mellow, midtown, non-smoker, card games, philosophy, politics, purple, rain, reading, affectionate, Strong Bad, Tetris

I'd like to meet:

I like talking to people who can debate without getting pissy and offended at opposite opinions. And, I like even more when people back an opinion because of their own conviction, rather than because it's popular or because it came from a book translated through 3 languages and full of half truths (you know which one). Otherwise, I'm down for some gaming of almost any type. From spades to DDR to even hopscotch if it'll cause a neighborhood in your fight.

Music:

Jazz, blues, techno, rock, hip hop, classical, downtempo. And totally respectin' the 80s. Maybe some U2, REM, Depeche mode, Tiamat, Michael Jackson (oldschool MJ), Wesley Willis, Natalie Merchant

Movies:

Amelie, Blade Runner, Nightmare Before Christmas, Boondock Saints, Pi, Office Space, Requiem, Hitchcock, Kuberick, Labyrinth, The Royal Tenenbaums, Spirited away, (disney's) Aladdin. TV: Family Guy, Iron Chef, Whose Line is it Anyway, Trading Spaces. But.. I haven't owned a TV in 5 years. Anyone encoding trading spaces to divx?

Books:

How 'bout authors? Harry Turtledove, Issac Asimov, Douglas Coupland, Piers Anthony, Kurt Vonnegut. And obligatory Grisham, King, Clancy. I also tear up a lot of non-fiction & periodicals. Adbusters anyone?
