The New Shakers

About Me

Inspired by artists such as David Byrne and Elvis Costello, Ryan began writing songs from a very early age. He began busking and eventually performing on stage under a variety of stage names, the most common of which was A Cup of Joe. His eclectic taste in music and skewed viewpoint of the world has eventually culminated into the musical act Ryan Eldridge and The New Shakers. The New Shakers is a loosely structured group consisting of whatever performers are present at that current moment, ensuring that each performance will be unique. This can include any range from a solo acoustic performance to a full orchestra, plate spinners and a trapeze artist.
