I'd like to meet:
I'm not very social. You'd think so, but you'd be wrong. That being said, I have enough friends. If you knew me once and want to again, well, that's what I'm here for.
Music:
The only things I can't abide are rap (mostly anyway), R&B, and gospel (though I do love the sound of a choir). I was born a Rolling Stones fan, but David Bowie holds a closer place in my heart. I enjoy fantasy metal far too much. I met Ronnie James Dio, okay, and saw ManOWar live. Enough said. I like punk too. I'm never without the classics there. Oh, and Alkaline Trio has never made a bad album... iffy, sure, but not bad. Oh, and by the by, bluegrass rocks!
Movies:
#1 O Brother Where Art Thou, #2 Big Lebowski, #3 absolutely anything with Johnny Depp in it. I also can't say enough about childhood classics like Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Princess Bride, etc.
Television:
I have to catch Lost and House or I get upset. (thank goodness we can record stuff now!) I also have to admit that I constantly tune in to watch Top Model, all the "Top"s really, and some other crap reality shows. Most Haunted and Ghost Hunters make me happy. I'm addicted to The Henry Rollins Show now that I have IFC. I wish My Name Is Earl was on 24/7.
Books:
I read a lot. A lot. Favorites are Lovecraft, Poe, and Barker. In that order. If I'm not reading horror, I'm reading fantasy. In that case, you just can't beat Gaiman. For humor I've been reading Pratchett's Disc World series. Hilarious! Favorite book of all time: House of Leaves. If you haven't read it, go get it! Keep a light on, and make sure you're emotioinally sound.
