my mom was born in talpa de allende, jalisco, mexico..my dad was born in sonsonate, el salvador..they met and I was born in los angeles, california, moved to el paso, tx sometime in middle school, moved back to los angeles, where there were I began to see the beauty of friendship, love, and burbank, then moved back to el paso, tx to finish high school - grew up, matured, became a somewhat productive academic student, focusing on the beautiful math.. somewhere along the way, I figured out chords and words and shakesperean rhythms, with a little mix of zapata and ernesto guevara, and mathematics... learned the keys, the turntables, rhythms, bass, and some rhyme. started playing songs for people that would listen..those that would remain with me still, the first people I shared music with were: well, that might not be a good idea because I didn't get their permission to list their names but I remember them well.. moved to colorado to pursue mathematical studies, ended up with a masters degree in that subject, with much more to come. became teacher of univeristy students...became a high school teacher later...teaching people to become easy about what they seemingly do not understand, in this case, math.. JUST RECENTLY moved to the bay area - adjusting, loving it, and am currently playing house parties, impromptu shows, bars, and street corners and BART stations like POWELL and 19th ST OAKLAND . not for the money, only for the music so if you need an acoustic musician, hit me up; of course, i will someday go back to el paso..regular in dallas, la, san fran, denver, pueblo, colorado springs, phoenix, and all points in between.
