Kimon Kirk

Kimon Kirk has performed and recorded with a variety of national and Boston-based artists. in the last year he played bass and sang on Aimee Mann's 2007 Summer Tour and adds vocals to a track on her forthcoming release @%&*! Smilers; he appears on Kris Delmhorst's latest album on Signature Sounds, Shotgun Singer, playing bass, and on Rose Polenzani and Session Americana's new When The River Meets The Sea. He also plays acoustic bass on Forked Tongue, the new release by the Revolutionary Snake Ensemble on Cuneiform Records, and contributes bass and vocals to Jabe Beyer's forthcoming release Rocket Surgery. Kimon continues to perform with the aforementioned artists and has also been playing and recording with Amy Fairchild, Ramona Silver, Jess Tardy, and guitarist Lyle Brewer. He is currently producing and playing bass on new tracks by David Champagne (of the Heygoods, the Sunsets, and Treat Her Right), and has recently begun recording and performing with a band of his own.
