I do many different things that are mostly connected with music and video. I produce music myself, play in a few bands, have a radio show about independent music. Also i'm making visuals and VJ'ing live in the parties. Aside from that i'm developing an art people focused web content management system.MusicFirst of all i'm a musician. I started getting into music when i was very little. I was attending musical school, where i was learning piano and foundations of classical music. But it all started when my father gave me my first computer at around 1993. After playing games for some time i began to look for a ways to make that computer produce the sounds i want. That wasn't an easy task at the time, because computers had no sound cards and there was no widely available internet where you could find information and software. Luckily i found a Pascal programming language compiler somewhere and wrote library that was able to play musical notes and change their pitch and length, so that i could write a program with note-function names in it, make it into .exe file, and listen to the melody. So my first song looked something like: Do;Re;length := length / 2;La_sharp. That was fun for some time, but it all became real when my neibhour showed me a program called ScreamTracker one day. I got into it and soon learned the basics of it and started making my first songs. After that there was a long and very interesting process of trial and error type of learning, developing musical taste and finding your own style. There were many projects along the way. Biggest one was Fresh Rice Crew - hip-hop crew consisting of 9 people. We were having really good time together: some mixed party/rehearsals, funny meetings where we talked for hours about what we should do, and a few shows. At about the same time i began learning to scratch, and soon after i started, turntable became my instrument of choice. Later i joined Green Carpet Studios - an underground music studio founded by Mark Splinter and Emery. Soon a studio became a magical place where everything is different from an outer world. Currently i'm working there on many projects, colaborating with other musicians, making remixes and so on. Major projects i'm involved in are listed below:Nauji Lektuvai / New AirplanesNauji Lektuvai is a duo consisting of me and Mark Splinter. I do live electronic stuff and play turntable and Mark is playing a trumpet through his secret loop pedal. We are mostly interested in making live performances, but also trying to force ourselves to make tidy studio versions of our tracks. When we are asked what kind of style we play, we say trip-hop, but only because a term trip-hop is now used to describe electronic music, that doesn't really fit into any other style slot. Our sound is a mixture of styles and influences with heavy beats and massive bass lines. But describing music is like singing a picture, so it's better to just listen to our stuff and watch videos from our performances on our page.
myspace.com/newairplanesMIRMIR is a live music band consisting of six people. Our style also can be described as trip-hop, only is this case in a much more traditional sense. It's a slow, deep music based on classic combination of drums/bass/guitar mixed with live electronic sounds and samples and some turntable maddness. On the top of all this flows a unique voice of our female vocalist. On stage we usually perform our songs, but also like to dive into improvisations and freestyle. Some songs are calm and relaxed while others drift even into drum'n'bass. Again, listening to our songs once is way better than reading all this text.

He's always into musical experiments of all sorts. After releasing his first album titled "Antimaterija", MC Messiah decided to make a presentation of the album with a full live band and play live arrangements of all tracks. After some transformations and changing members it all evolved into Messiah Goes Mad Orchestra - a full live band consisting of almost 10 musicians. Currently the activity of the band is paused as MC Messiah is preparing his second album and doing solo shows with different Dj's accross Lithuania.

I currently work on a few remixes, that will be finished soon.VideoAside from music, i also work with video. Mostly i'm focused on visuals and VJ'ing. I began experimenting with video in 2006. First thing i made was a short cut'n'scratch video. Soon after that i got an offer from Ninja Tune artist Pest to make visual representation for his track called Delucid from an album with a same name. Soon after that i started making visuals for Boogaloo parties, and i'm still making it for different parties, festivals and clubs. Recently i started vj'ing live. It's a very good experience and it's very much connected with music so being musician it's interesting to manipulate a video in a way that fits to particular piece of music. I'm now mainly VJ'ing for Mondayjazz parties. In these few years i made visuals for people like Jon Kennedy, Dj Vadim, Dj Food, Freddy Fresh, Lo Fidelity Allstars, Krafty Kuts, Herbalizer, Fulgeance, A-Skillz, Dorian Concept and many others.LEBAUJANTIS KIRPEJAS - my short cut'n'scratch videoExcept from visuals for Boogaloo party with Ollie Teeba (Herbaliser)RadioI'm also hosting a radio show called Skraidantis Radijas (Flying Radio) on the only non-commenrcial music station StartFM. We find interesting music from all over the world and play it on our show. We play only independent music, and less known the artist is, the more interesting he is to us. Skraidantis Radijas is all about the music with no style, format or time boundaries, it's about playing music as such and talking absolute rubish in between tracks.
