Fastbinder was born in 1973 in Leuven and had a relaxing childhood in Tervuren city between Leuven & Brussels in Belgium. When he got his hand at his first piece of vinyl back in 85, the shit hit the fan. He had numerous dates in clubs like Club Bizar and Afterclub Outline when most of you were still sucking on your thumbs / mommas titties. During all this time his musical preferences evolved from trance into progressive to the new skool breaks he plays today. He is one of the founding members of the Rolling Maffia crew, a Belgian dnb/breakz collective. ROLLING MAFFIA is a DJ- as well as an organiser collective. They started out together in the beginning of 2006. Their homebase is right in between Brussels and Louvain. Before that, the dj's already separately discovered their love for music so they've been gathering experience for a much longer period than this. Also, they come from different musical backgrounds which is still reflected in the wide variety of styles covered by the Rolling Maffia today. The Rolling Maffia drops down different styles of broken electronic music, ranging from NU SKOOL-, CLUBBY- and HEAVY BREAKS to the LIQUID, ROLLING and GRIMEY sounds of DRUM N BASS.
