About Me


My name is Kris Toni Salvador. I'm a senior at El Camino Real High School
I was born in the Philippines but i moved to California when i was seven years old. I am a writer, a listener, a friend, but above all things i'm a believer. At a young age i remember going to church and singing to the music. i prayed every night and i just knew that God was always going to be there for me. When i became a teenager, my world changed and God seemed to have let me die away slowly. I was insecure, angry, depressed,confused, and ready to give up. My childlike ways, my innocence, my peace,and my joy died away with my childhood. The pressures of fitting in and being accepted took up a large part of my personality. There were troubles in my home at the same time that a war was being fought inside of me. Trying to take control of my life seemed to make everything worse. Many times it was like God was blocking me from doing things whenever I wanted to change situations or make things better. I started hurting myself.
I started attending bible study with my two sisters who are born again. I was a little freaked out by some of the things i heard and saw. Christians were so joyful! I wanted joy! I wanted peace! I wanted to be happy again! I wanted to be free!
One May evening 2007 on the 18th day i decided to change everything and accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and let God take control of my entire life.
I have never been happier. My childlike spirit is inside me again. Life is great and joy is overflowing. My story continues...but i thank God now because I have come a long way. I feel free...despite many of life's throws Forever Humanitasian I'm a Beatlemaniac!

I watch movies on t.v. or rent some and watch with my sisters on the weekend. Sometimes i watch them alone...if you like old movies maybe we can watch them together. =)
