Christian Samosny

Christian Samosny was born on the 4th of may in 1983 in Gelsenkirchen (Germany). At the age of seven he got his first piano lessons from his father, a professional musician. In the same year he won the first prize in the established music - competition „Jugend musiziert“.
From this point on, his everyday life became more and more influenced by music. When he was 14, he started playing as a keyboarder in some bands. In the following time he listened to more progressive styles of music, especially funk and fusion jazz. Thats why he formed the group „Hektik“, with some of the best talents in his hometown. In 2003 he started his musical exams at the well reputated „Folkwang Hochschule“ in Essen. His main focus lies on producing and arranging.
As a performer, Christian has worked together with musicians like Jasmin Wagner, Andy Platzer, Martin Furmann, Hans Wanning, Wolfgang Wilger, Minerva Diaz Perez, Daniel Sanleandro, Thorsten Praest, Anke Sieloff to name a few. He appeared on several TV-shows with the band of Peter Steinbach.He produced and arranged songs for HochTief, Millboard Message, Blind Alley, "Klavierfestival Ruhr" in 2007.One of his newest experience was to work beneath top Producers Craig Simmons and Mary C. Bernett for the famous musical „A christmas Carol“ known as "Vom Geist der Weihnacht" in Duisburg. Today he concentrates on working with his professors Bernhard Eichner and Peter Schneider. They mainly produce movie scores and jingles for bigger companies.
