About Me

I've always loved to paint. I'm especially fond of Ancient art. Although Egyptian is my favorite, I also do Greek, Roman, all the ancient cultures. Another point of interest is the Renaissance and Medieval art, as well as Americana, Native American, African, Asian and southwestern styles.I paint everything from small frameable pictures to wall murals.I will also do portraits from photographs.
Below are some examples of my work:Framed Ceremonial Friese Of Tutankhamun-Completely Hand Made(except mask) and Hand Beaded. Heiroglyphs on Frame detail the life of the Boy King. Note the hand painted border around fireplace and along ceiling. A cut of fabric and sconces with small incense burners add a nice dramatic effect. A wall hanging painted on cloth of RamesesXI. AcrylicThis photo and the two following depict Queen Nefretari playing a game of Senet. This painting(also painted on cloth) is shown first up close to show detail. In the second photo The winged sun disc is painted on the Fireplace. Decorative fans are added above on both sides to add balance. The third photo shows the same painting in a different location. Note the painted border above. The following three photos depict RamesesII (The Great) in his Hunting Chariot. Painted on cloth in acrylic it is shown first as a full painting and then in closeup. A store purchased border is added on top and bottom. Featured below is a hanging wall mural(on art paper in acrylic) of a false balcony overlooking the Royal Courtyard. Since the photo is taken at an odd angle the full effect is hard to perceive. However, when viewed directly center it appears as three dimensional. Again,a cut of cloth and sconces as well as a golden ornamental plaque add to the effect.
