About Me

I have always been a spiritual person, even as a child, but never quite fit in with the religion I was raised in. When I was in high school, I wanted to be a "priest", but they were only male, so I thought I would love to work with Mother Theresa. I saw her as a shining example of love and compassion (I still do!), but soon realized that if I became a nun, I would be competing with thousands of other girls and would probably end up in a cloister somewhere, doing nobody any good. For many years I went on with my life following other career paths. During that time, I studied other religions, then found Interfaith and became Ordained as a minister. I was finally able to follow my calling of so many years ago! I love what I do and am a much happier person for it. My favorite part is blessing people. Any time I can share unconditional love I am in my element, so to speak. Here, I'll send a blessing to you now, just for reading this. Are you ready? Here it comes!I am an educator at the Long Island Science Center, which fulfills my love of science and my love of children. I am also a Reiki Master, Reflexologist, and Crystal Healer. It is really very rewarding. My beautiful children constantly keep me on my toes, but it's a lot of fun, since they both have a sense of humor. It is they who keep my attitude playful and young. I will always be grateful to my family for that.
