Would they know that I cared if I wasn’t here tomorrow
Could they think of the good times or get wrapped up in the sorrow
What would I say if these words were my last
And would they mean anything to the people from my past
I would tell the ones I love how much they mean to me
Id say that it’s alright cause this is how it’s meant to be
I would wipe the tears from my mother’s eyes
Tell her that I loved her and kiss her goodbye
I would tell my dad how he was always the best
How he stole his little boy’s heart right out from his chest
And even though he shall never see me again smile
That I would be walking by his side all the while
I would thank my family for always being there for me
How if I can protect them while in heaven, then I always would be
Id tell my big sister I’d miss growing up by her side
But that I know in her heart, I will always reside
Id tell my friends that I loved them and they were tons of fun
Tell them not to worry, that my adventure’s just begun
And in my last few breaths, looking up in my lover's eyes
I would only say that I love you and tell you not to cry
Because I know that in your heart, you can see me say it all
