So where to start? 5 friends get together back in '97 with the purpose of writing songs, playing shows and have as much fun along the way. Over the first few years we wrote and recorded a collection of songs that came out on our first two demo tapes. From this we played numerous shows, locally in Cardiff and in alot of towns round the country.Sometime in '99, the recordings found their way over to the states where we got a record released on GFY Records from New Jersey. The album was called 'Persona' and with it we toured the east coast of the US and Canada twice.Along the way we made alot of friends, drove thousands of miles to play some amazing cities, sold a bunch of records and partied with anyone who'd have us!We returned to Britain older, wiser and completely broke. After this we went back in to write and record an EP entitled 'PHASE 2'.This came out as a split release between BOSS TUNEAGE RECORDS and our own THE 23:59 LABEL. In the next few years we took to the motorways and towns of the UK in our trusty (debatable!) van to spread the word. We did so many tours with so many amazing bands I cant even remember them all. During this time Gravity records re-released our album 'Persona' along with two tracks we had on a split 7inch with THE ATARIS and the 'Phase 2' EP , to give us a full album release for the UK (the US record never actually came out in the UK!) In early 2003 we managed to get back into the rehershal rooms to write 7 new tunes, 3 of which became the content for our final release as a band. The single 'B IS THE NEW WAY' was released in early 2004 and contained the tracks 'B IS THE NEW WAY','JOHNNIE MAC' AND 'ONUS' as well as a video for the title track. It was at this point, a few months later, that we decided to call it a day and wind up the band in the best possible way.We set out on our final tour in July '04 and visited, and said goodbye to, as a band, all the people we had the pleasure of meeting and befriending in the 7 years since we began. It was an amazing tour. Friday, 13th August. The Coal Exchange,Cardiff. Our last show. We asked our closest friends and favourite bands to come and play with us one more time. Along with us for the night was Capdown,The Take,Adequate 7 and Boom In The Diamond Industry and along with the 900 people who'd travelled from near and far we had the best gig/night of our lives.'The Party' lasted for about 4 days......somewhere, it's still going on. Nice One. ..
