I play the nyckelharpa, mostly Swedish trad music or music based on that music. I've played in various contexts in Sweden and abroud in Europe, West Africa, Brazil and collaborated with musicians from different music styles. However my favourite musicians are closer to hand - Erika Lindgren - extraordinary talented fiddle player (riksspelman) dear friend with whom I play and sing trad Swedish folk music (www.erikaochcecilia.com). More experimental music in the band "Siri" with Miss Mary Golden Fairy (Maria Arnqvist) - saxophone queen (myspace.com/cimbramusic). The Siri music is improvisational, based on trad music with an airy spacious sound. Apart from these beautiful ladies I sometimes play with hammond organ player Eric Malmberg (www.sagorochswing.se)who also takes part in the new CD of Siri. And I play with the band "Maramas" - musicians with miscallenous backgrounds in Persian, Greek, Free improvisation- and Swedish trad (Tuomo Haapala, Marie Selander, Aftab Tahami & Mats Einarsson)Discography
