DJ Sol Jay

Since the initial rave music in the early 1990s, Sol Jay has been writing drum n bass and doing DJ work across the South including a couple of releases in 1995. Despite a slight setback when he had brief stay at one Her Majestys finest hotels, he has maintained his enthusiasm and passion for the music which is shown through his collection. After consistent talks with long time friend Graham Mew (a.k.a. Invisible Man - the original amen man) about whether to go back to the mixing desk, it was clear there was only one way to go. With the help of a loan from The Princes Trust, he was able to build a studio in order get going again. Sol Jay has a varied interest of drum n bass styles, being influenced by Invisible Man, Total Science (from Legend rec. to present day), 4Hero, Alex Reece, Shy FX and Zinc but to name a few. The extensive collection of tunes Sol Jay has written through two years of hard work proves this. It's now time for the public to understand what Sol Jay is about.
