Hey, My name's Mike. I grew up in Clearwater Florida where I lived to around the age of 21. After that I moved to Orlando for a job opportunity, and ended up staying there for about twelve years. Eventually the urban sprawl just got to be too much for me, so I moved over to another Florida beach town, Ponce Inlet on the east coast, where I lived for a couple of years. A life time of watching too many documentaries on discovery and travel channels, combined with reading too many surf and dive magazines, made me want to travel the tropics so bad I couldn't stand it, so I took a job at an aquarium on the Pacific Island of Guam where I've lived and played for the last five years. I've been lucky enough to travel not only all over the Indo/Pacific region, but to a ton of other places since I left Florida. This year I finally realized a life long dream, and purchased a sailboat worthy of cruising the high seas in. I've been working hard to get it ready, and I hope to start sailing the islands very soon. I've set up a web site for the boat. It's www.theloraxboat.com.
