About Me

I had met and fallen in love with the man I was going to marry by the age of twelve, when Reed Richards was a Student at Columbia University and rooming at my aunts boarding house. We were reunited years later when I went to California to pursue an acting career, we soon became romantically involved and later engaged. I with my younger brother Johnny agreed to accompany Reed and his best friend Ben Grim on the test flight of in experimental rocket ship. During the trip the four of us where bombarded with cosmic rays that changed their molecular structure giving the strange powers, I discovered that I could become partially or full invisible and could mentally control invisible force fields. We became the Fantastic Four, the very first modern super team. Throughout our their many adventures Reed and I found time to get married and have a child Franklin who is developing powers of his own. During a period when Reed was thought to be dead I took on the mantle of team leader and after his return continued to play a major part in the direction of the group. Both my husband and i took the difficult decision to send their son Franklin into another dimension to protect him from our many enemies. Known Superhuman Powers: My psionic ability to manipulate ambient cosmic energy enables me to bend light around my body without distortion, thus rendering myself invisible. The cells of my body produce an unknown form of energy I can mentally project around other people and objects -- rending them invisible, as well. My brain cells produce psionic force I can shape into relatively simple forms - such as rectangle planes, globes, cylinders, cones and domes. Also, I can mentally project protective fields that are highly resistant to concussive forces. And by projecting columns of psionic force beneath me, I can travel through the air.
