Well…my name is Yasi. I am a 15 year old girl that loves to shred :D I started to play guitar back in 2005 when I was 12. As far as I can remember I always loved music, especially guitar and drums. First I tried to play violin for about 4 years but i sucked and switched to guitar.
Now I’m a total Vai - Freak: it's so amazing to watch Steve Vai playing guitar. So I started practicing a lot to be able to play his stuff (and that after just one year of playing). I grew better and better and finally I chanced to get in contact with Steve himself *yay*. He well respected me and told me: “Yasi, you are lucky, you got huge talent”. In 2007, July 3rd I got the big chance to play with him on stage in the encore of one of his concerts in my hometown in Ulm (Ulmer Zelt). That was the fulfilling of my greatest dreams and experience of my life. Now I'll see what the future brings :)
