Finding the inner "Stone Phillips" in my heart, and countering him with the "John Stossel" of my soul. Things of next importance are: directing, improv, comedy, writing, all music, friends, weird health fads, acting, lounging, history, current events, travel, rhetoric, playing instruments and harmonizing, collecting instruments, mocking convenience store employees(and, unfortunately, seeing myself in their eyes), earnestly conversing with senior citizens who are deeply concerned about their water bills. I am also interested in nutrition and fitness....if only it showed!
More people like these.............I really love meeting everyone. But , if one must be specific...... Anyone involved in improv, comedy, music, film, theatre(especially directing and acting), or writing. I do not want to meet any left-brained people (or whatever side of your brain accountants and cubicle people come from) who want to discuss practicalities.I'd love to meet any young person who can sell me a subscription to "Grit Magazine," so I can say to them, "You know, young person, I too sold "Grit Magazine" as a boy."I'd love to meet every self-impressed, 19 year old fast food assistant manager (with a faint "manager moustache"), that I had to deal with whilst in highschool. It would be great to be able to simply look them in the eyes, shake their hands, and congratulate them for being easy targets.I would finally like to be able to meet English speakers who cannot or will not use contractions.Just because.
Anything corporate and contrived. The more generic the better!!!! I play(to some degree) and own one of just about any instument with a string(some well, so not so), so I am always up to hearing something new.
Any Scatman Crothers film such as "Zapped." Any LifeTime movie with a colon in the title, such as "Not Without My Daughter You Don't: The Joanna Kerns Story", etc. I love lifetime network, as it reminds me of how lucky I am to have a set of balls. Any film containing people that I know(or claim to know).
Tony Danza vehicles.Billy Mays infomercials(KA_BOOM!) because I love his akwardly dyed beard.More Tony Danza vehicles. Otherwise, if I get a chance, I watch King if the Hill, Outdoor Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Comedy Central, Cheaters, Curb, Extras, Comedy, and Bobbie Stack's "Unsolved Mysteries"..But, I rarely watch tv.
Any publications with lotsa pics of tig 'oles and trucks!!!No, honestly, I read constantly, mostly nonfiction, history, natural sciences, and 15+ periodicals a month(Discovery, NatGeo, Science, Archaeology, Smithsonian, Bassin'). I do not bother with pretentious BS such as Rolling Stone, as I no longer fill the need to prove to all of you people that I am "cool" and "in the know."
You are my hero...ya big putz!!! Mike Judge(met him at Whole Foods few weeks ago)Rick Moranis. Eugene Levy, Any one who came out of the old SCTV shows. The inventor of Nachos!
